Displasia mesenquimal placentaria

La displasia mesenquimal placentaria es una anomalía placentaria rara y benigna. Dentro de las características esta la placentomegalia con lesiones quísticas de las vellosidades trocales y acompañado de anomalías vasculares, con incremento sérico de materno de alfafetoproteína. Comúnmente confundida con enfermedad trofoblástica gestacional por ser una entidad clínica desconocida y los hallazgos ecográficos similares que presenta. Los hallazgos ecográficos deben incluirse como diagnostico diferencial donde se observa una placenta con lesiones quísticas y un feto de apariencia normal. La restricción del crecimiento intrauterino y muerte fetal intrautero están relacionados con la displasia mesenquimal placentaria. Por todo ello es necesario mejorar las evaluaciones ecográficas para poder detectar y disminuir la morbilidad fetal. Se presenta un caso de displasia mesenquimal placentaria con un bebe sano.
