Resumen

El hamartoma mesenquimal hepático es la segunda causa de tumoraciones benignas que afectan al hígado en el paciente pediátrico. Caso clínico: Se presenta el caso de una niña de cuatro años que cursa con distensión abdominal de un año de evolución, los estudios de imagen evidencian lóbulo hepático derecho con lesiones multiquísticas en toda su extensión con perdida evidente de parénquima hepático, posteriormente se confirma diagnóstico de hamartoma mesenquimal hepático por anatomía patológica y masa tumorales extirpada completamente por medio de una hepatectomía derecha. Análisis: El hamartoma mesenquimal hepático se presenta con crecimiento progresivo durante los primeros meses de vida y aunque se ha informado de regresión parcial espontáneaes posible una transformación a sarcoma embrionario indiferenciado y se plantea la resección total o parcial como tratamiento definitivo.
